Welcome!
to invite you all to some
fun days with good friends,
great dogs and challenging work!
We are honoured to have some fantastic judges who are also amazing handlers, eager to challenge us and each other with tricky and personal courses.
We are bringing in several types of sheep that put the complicity between dog and handler to the test.
And for our friends coming from far, we have located this trial around a truly charming and genuinely French town with plenty to do and see also for weary family members who may not fully share our enthusiasm for sheep related activities.
Please come, whether as participant, volonteer or spectator, and help us make this a wonderful and fun event that gives us memories and inspiration enough to boost us through the next winter!

NEWS
Please send us links to your photos from French Open 2011 and we will publish them here! We are proposing French Open 2012 5-7 October ! Could you please keep an eye on trial calenders in your respective countries, and let us know if there is any other big events planned for these dates? Thank you!! The confirmed results have been posted (here)! These results differ slightly from those announced during the prize ceremony. This is due to changes made in starting dogs, when the dogs were run, cancellations of runs, etc made by handlers on the spot without informing the secretariats, and these changes had therefore not been taken into account in the results calculations made on site. We do apologise for this, and will try to ask handlers to be more disciplined in keeping the secretariats updated about changes they make next year. We may also add an id check of the dog at the start of each run to ensure that results are recorded for the correct dog.Wow, we are completely overwhelmed by all the impressions and emotions; so many memories, so much inspiration...!!! THANK YOU all wonderful and enthusiastic participants, our dedicated and amazing volonteers and all the fantastic and positive spectators!! We will spend Monday cleaning the sites and moving back the sheep, but on Tuesday we'll go through and post the results. We appologise for this lack of bandwidth, but we'll be back on-line soon...!
